The kittens are doing really really well this week their dad joined them on the sofa with mum and we had one big cuddle and wash fest.
The kittens turned six weeks old on Thursday, they are growing up fast now. This week we have taken the cardboard play pen down so they can run around the living room. They have made great friends with Hamish our 11 month old Scottish Terrier puppy and now have a second nanny Nessie our 13 year old Scottish Terrier who keeps an eye on them as well as mum Star. Below is a picture taken this morining of the kittens and mum fast asleep after playing all morning.
Please could the delightful couple we met at Saturday the 28th of May 2016 cat show please contact us on 01388450017 ASAP
Over the last two weeks the kittens have come out the nest and are now in a play area in the bedroom. They have also started to use litter trays and we have successfully weaned them. Today they have also had their first visit downstairs to meet the other cats and the dogs. They were a little shy at first staying in their bed but soon explored the sofa and relaxed onto my knee. Please see their pictures!
The kittens are three weeks this week, sadly we lost one of the boys he was the smallest and we know these things happen but it doesn't make it any less sad. Rest in peace our little Yoda. However the other five kittens are doing really well, we have three boys and two girls it looks like we have two red boys and a chocolate boy plus two chocolate girls. We have given them little nick names at the moment while we think of their pedigree names, they will go on to have different names once they have secured their forever homes. Please see their pictures for their cute names.
We are pleased to announce that on Thursday the 21st of April Star welcome six kittens into the world. Four boys and two girls. Mum and babies are doing well. We will update again in the next few weeks while the kittens grow and bond with mummy. We have decided however as the kittens were born on the Queen's 90th birthday we will be giving them Royal themed names.
