Kitten Policy
Kitten Policy
The purpose of this policy is for potential owners to understand our policy before they commit to purchasing a kitten from Laokind.
All of our kittens are bred into a safe and homely environment. They are bred for their type, personality and health. The kittens are born into an active household; they are use to people, other animals such as cats and dogs and are also confident with household noises.
We ensure all our kittens are veterinary health checked, vaccinated, insured and are correctly registered with the GCCF. We will also provide a minimum of a three generation pedigree to all new owners.
We usually allow kittens to leave between twelve and fourteen weeks of age depending on the size of the kitten.
We may wish to visit a kitten’s new home before we agree to a final sale. There is nothing to be scared of it is just to ensure they are entering a safe environment and that all new owners understand the dangers they must look out for when having a young kitten.
When a kitten is ready to leave we will provide a Kitten welcome pack that includes:-
· A pedigree certificate
· GCCF registration and transfer slip
· Vaccination certificate
· Free 30days insurance with Pet Plan
All kittens are sold on the non-active register, unless under special circumstances, at the discretion of the breeder and stud owner. Deposits will be required to secure your kitten; this is non-refundable if you withdraw from the sale. We hold the right to return any deposits if necessary or if circumstances dictate.
Once you have purchased your kitten, this cannot be sold on further, without our permission. If your circumstances change and you no longer can keep your kitten, we will ask you to return it and you will receive a refund only if we can sell the kitten on to another owner. If you purchase a kitten and return it due to health reasons, then you must provide at your own expenses a report from a veterinary surgeon stating the reasons of return, tests carried out, diagnoses or any other veterinary procedures that occurred on the kitten.
We are always here if you need advice or have any questions. We like to keep updated with how all are kittens do, whether that be in the show world, breeding or just at home as a pet.
