Lyra is our Caramel Tortie Point; she is a very playful and purry young girl who loves to play with toys and explore the house. She is still only young and we hope to show and breed off her in the future. She has a wonderful cheeky nature, loves food and curling up for a cuddle, she is a pure lap cat. Credit to the photos goes to Jo at Riobelle Siamese.
Lyra has had a lot of show success please read below for her latest show news.
Lyra is mother to Rogue, Logan and Gambit she no longer breeds but is the top cat in our house as she is a wonderful mother figure.

Show News
Lyra attended her first show ever yesterday at Teeside Cat Club (2012) she was awarded a third in her open and won two thirds in her side classes and a first in her other side class.
We know that Lyra could have done better, however the judges could not award her higher due to the questioning over her colour.
Lyra has now been confirmed as a Caramel Tortie Point Siamese.
We hope that she will achieve greater success in her show career once she’s been registered as her new colour.

Lyra did her very well at the North West show in Leigh, she won first in her Tortie Kitten open and even achieved her first Best of Breed. We are very pleased with her results as she was even considered for best Siamese Kitten, sadly she did loose out but we are still happy with her results. Lyra will now be in adult classes and we can't wait to
see how she does. We are pleased with her progress after the Teeside show where she was put down on her colour. She handled very well and is also getting use to been shown.

Trans Pennine 2012
Lyra attended her third show this weekend, this show was her first as an adult Siamese. She did really well winning first in her open and even getting her first CC. We are very proud of her for doing so well even at 9months old. Hopefully she will achieve Champion status one day.
Thank you to Tom Cassar-Simmonds (Fiordiliso) who took this lovely photo of her, she looks lovely.
Her judge Mrs Farnsworth had this to say in her show report:
"Caramel tortie of fine type"
"Good top of head and large well placed ears. Excellent profile, small pinch to muzzle, level bite and good chin"
"Fragile neckline and long firm body of good type with slim legs and long whip tail"
"Promising exhibit"

Teesaide Cat Club 2013
Lyra won first in her open, her 2nd CC and Best of Breed yesterday at the Teeside Cat Club. She then was nominated and went onto win Best of Variety Siamese Adult. We are so proud of her seeing as she hasn't been on the show bench since December 2012. We are hoping to get her up to Champion status in the next coming months. I want to thank her Judge Mr Dryden for his awards. I also want to thank Tom Cassar-Simmonds of Fiordiliso Siamese for taking a lovely photos of her as well which is below in her album. Craig Dryden has given her a glowing show report in which he mentioned her wonderful colour and type.

photos from the show and of her wards but the photo to the side if of her and
her gold card from yesterday.

Lyra won her second Grand Champion Certificate today at the Lakeland Cat Show thanks to her judge who awarded her the certificate and to her other judge who gave her Best of Breed.
