The three boys are now downstairs and are part of the household, they are still a bit small to play with the older kittens but they enjoy watching the big kittens run around the house. The boys have enjoyed loads of new toys and a new bed from the cat show this weekend too. Poppy loves the freedom of been able to leave my room and be around the other cats. Below is a picture of the boys from today.
I do apologise for missing out week four and also issuing week five late, I have just had my hands full the past two weeks with my life and the kittens. The boys are doing really well we started weaning at four weeks as are still trying to encourage them that food is good we are getting there slowly. Litter training however is going really well I'm shocked they've taken to it so quick. We have finally decided which kitten suits which name which I have announced below. The boys also had their first visit downstairs and it went okay there was a little jealousy for the bigger kittens but once everyone had had a sniff of each other it all calmed down, Poppy is now very proud and doesn't mind the others visiting the kittens.
Athos- Introducing Athos the biggest of the boys, he has a wonderful laid back nature, he enjoys playing with his brothers and attacking his mum's tail. Athos enjoys playing with his toys also his favourite toy is the jingle ball.
Porthos- Introducing Porthos, he is the second biggest but the most naughty, he is always the one leading the other two into mischief but at the same time he is the first to run to mum when things get scary.
Aramis- Introducing Aramis he is the smallest boy but has bags of energy and a lot to say for himself. Aramis is also a bit of a mummy's boy but he is also the best eater as he tucks into his grub without encouragement. He loves toys too!
The boys are 18 days old today and will be three weeks old on Thursday. They are all doing really well, their red markings are slightly coming through and they are now walking on shaky legs. I have also seen them playing a little with each other, their mum and their blankets. They have also been peeking out of the nest box and a couple of times they have climbed out before rolling straight back in. Poppy is also doing well she is a bossy mamma cat and hasn't allowed any of the others to view her little boys yet though all the other cats have been trying to catch a glimpse. You would think their royal babies!! Below are a few photos of them and Mummy.
